Welcome to An Cosan Glas

An Cosan Glas is an artists collective based in the Donegal Gaeltacht. We run sculpture trails and arts educational programs throughout Ireland and Europe.

An Cosan Glas means The Green Path in Gaeilge, the Irish Language. Every year, as part of Earagail Arts Festival in July, we fill the sand dunes of Magheraroarty beach with the popular Loinnir night time illuminated sculpture trail which attracts thousands of people from all over Ireland. For the past three years in September we have taken this magical collection of artwork to Letterkenny Town Park for Culture Night.

In 2011 An Cosan Glas were invited to Bologna, Italy, to run workshops with children and create a sculpture trail comprising works made on site and illuminated sculptures from the many successful years of our project.

Saothar Ealaion arts educational programme is a mainly schools-based art project running workshops for all ages throughout Ireland.
